Nexus is an NGO based in Finland to support student run entrepreneurship societies (ESs).

Our mission is to supercharge the Entrepreneurship Society (ES) ecosystem by providing the support needed to build world-class startup communities.

NexUs exists to ensure that ESs have a solid base upon which they can truly support founders at scale. Every ES should be a gateway to entrepreneurship, not just a club that hosts events on a tight budget.

NexUs is formed by its member organizations: Registered student-led ES communities. Each member appoints a representative and participates in governance through the general meeting and the Board.

While supporting individual founders is crucial, NexUs only targets to create more entrepreneurs through the systemic support of Entrepreneurship Societies.

Where does NexUs

get its funding?

Our funding comes from public sources, corporate partnerships, strategic sponsorships, and programs like Erasmus.

Importantly, we don’t compete with our member ESs for local sponsors. NexUs focuses on larger-scale funding — EU programs, national initiatives, and major institutional partners — so that societies can keep building locally without overlap.

We go after the big fish.
