To date, every single Finnish unicorn startup has emerged from the Aalto entrepreneurship society. Was it from actives or board alumni, the impact of the entrepreneurship societies is undeniable. But here's the question: with 15 different Es's operating here in Finland, why do unicorns only emerge from a single entity, AaltoEs?

The short answer is that AaltoEs is big enough to organize the critical events and workshops that truly empower and support founders. The unfortunate truth is that the other Es's aren’t big enough to take on this level of support. They’re too small to provide the necessary resources to help founders thrive.

We are here to change that.

We are a non-profit, "NEXUS", to support the Es ecosystem. We are the fertile ground where the future takes root, and the Es's plant the seeds of entrepreneurship. Together, with collaboration and hard work, these seeds grow into ideas, founders, and ventures that drive the ecosystem forward.
